This is the package of mecánica de fluidos (with calculus introduction) by M.E. Gomez, one of the most comprehensive texts about fluid mechanics in Spanish language. The book was written in the beginning of this century, when man had just started to study fluids (and turbulence). It has an interesting history: it was originally written by M.E. Gomez for his own use and later published in 1969 by means of "UNAM" publishing house under the title "Introduccion a la mecánica de fluidos". The material presented here contains lot's of solutions to many problems with step-by-step explanations regarding fundamentals. From the 3rd edition this book has also been published under the title "Introduccion a la mecánica de fluidos (con cálculo)" by editorial "Ponencia Universitaria" (a division of Editorial Limusa). Nowadays, this name is used for other books, where Gomez's work is only partially used. These new versions present many modifications in the text and in the problems, but they do not present any solutions (the students are supposed to find them by themselves). This is why we're presenting here the original work, with solutions but without all these modifications - which makes this material even more complete. The book presents a reorganized and new introduction to fluid mechanics.
